92 240SX Auto, Idle problems

Hi,

The idle on above car is not consistent and now it occasionally stalls when I step on the gas from a stop. I have done extensive tuning and checked everything listed in the manual but my guess is it's the air valve. I have seen articles on how to clean the air valve and I think the grounds sometimes corrode also. I can't seem to find any of those articles (tried search) now but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.
