I'll keep it short and simple. 92 240sx, A/C will blow cold then all of a sudden, it won't. I've checked the compressor when it blows cold and the clutch is moving and when it doesn't blow cold, the clutch is stopped. What are the chances the refrigerant (R12) is just low?

Good chance. I'd recommend pulling vacuum on the system (check for leaks), install a R134 conversion kit, and charge with 134.

That's what I'm leaning towards... Conversion kit, vacuum the R12 and recharge with 135a.

I'm reading both that you need to replace the mineral oil with PAG oil and that you don't. Anyone have any personal experience?
