92 240 coupe transmission help

i have a 92 240sx coupe and im putting my new transmission in and when i put it in it doesnt want to go in all the way in like somethings not lining up but if i spin the tail shaft the fly wheel spins when in gear.

The transmission input shaft pilot stub is hung up at the pilot bushing. If you replaced the clutch assembly, did you use a clutch alignment tool?

If the alignment is incorrect, you'll have a HELL of a time trying to close up that gap between the bellhousing and the block.
