Wes - Can a '97 head unit replace a '94? Picked up a '94 Q45t, with a Kenwood aftermarket changer (that seems to work) but is not selectable from the '94 unit.
Car has unknown history - just bought it this week (so I'll be hitting up Joe for some parts...) and it's got 212K miles, but from the ride, and the smmothness of idle, you'd never know. Exterior is MINT (ok, so it needs a center cap for the factory mag wheel...) and interior looks like 100K rather than >200K. Rear Bose speakers blown, but amps are OK.
In the spirit of remaining as close to stock, are the pinouts for a '97 (or later, without steering wheel controls) compatable with the '94 wiring? I can live without a changer, and the single built-in one would be fine...
Thanks for your insight!!!
