91Q; Rapidly Flashing Turn Signal

This past weekend, the turn signals on my 91Q started flashing more rapidly than normal when the headlights are on. This occurs with the turn signals for both directions. They do not do this when the headlights are off. It acts like turn signals do when there is a burned out bulb, however I checked all bulbs and they seem to be illuminating properly, albeit flashing rapidly.

Has anyone experienced this symptom before? Cure??

Try shining up the bulb contacts with an emery board.

Check the [under rear seat drivers side under sound deadening] harnesses for a partial high resistance short or corrosion.................not common. If cleaning up all the bulb sockets doesn't work.
