91Q radio noise

I am getting a high pitch shriek from my front left speaker. The radio is stock. Any ideas. Has anyone experienced this. Bad speaker? Problem with radio? Does the front speaker have a circut board like the rear one? Additionally, what do I need to look out for when removing the door panel. Hiden clips etc.
