My 240 is having major issues. While cruising my car will randomly start slowing down because my throttle is no longer being seen by the ecu. The car will actually idle but won't rev over 1200 or so. I can correct it by turning the car completely off, then cranking back up. This is pretty annoying especially in traffic when i am accelerating then my car starts to slow down and i have to take time to shut down then restart. I have a 300zx mass air, 720cc inj, with enthalpy tuned ecu. I have never had this issue before and i have been boosted on this setup for 2.5 years.

It seems to happen more when hitting a big bump, or even a slow turn.

Please help this thing is so random.....

does the problem go away under certain throttle conditions?

check your MAF and TPS with their associated circuits. check to make sure the connections are good.

It is not throttle position specific. I have thoroughly checked those connections, i see no problems...my safc is not seeing anything odd either when it occurs

The tps could still be bad even if the connections are good. Make sure it's not something else first though. Cause the tps cost about $50 new. Luckily it's small enough to pocket at the junkyard.

your mafs connector might have a short in the lead. Check the wires leading to the mafs for a short...also make sure the socket is in good condition.
