Hey guys so Ive known ive had a vacuum leak for a while and the other day while driving I could hear like a static coming from my speakers but then I realized the radio was off :wtf2: so I listened more and it sounds almost like its coming from like between the firewall and the dash
Any ways after asking a few people I've come to the conclusion its either the vacuum tank or the clutch booster or ... but more are saying clutch booster...
They asked me questions like does the clutch feel any different or hard or something and I said it doesnt feel different but its always been hard from the day I got it and the guy that owned it before me messed the poor car up in every way you can think

anyways ... So what do I do about this.. I would really like to fix this vacuum leak because its really bothering me and giving me symptoms

Also I recently Adjusted my Idle because it was up at about 1000- 1100
and since i did that, at random times, the idle will bounce between like 650-850 rpms... incase that might help you guys out a bit

but anyways how would I be able to test forsure if it is the clutch booster and how is the easiest way to get to it?

The Z32 shouldn't have a clutch booster. Are you talking about the brake booster?

Go here:

Download the file br.pdf, and skip to the Brake Booster section. It'll tell you how to test for leaks.

This is the truth.

You can disconnect the Clutch booster to see if the noise goes away. You can drive without it, your clutch will be a little harder to push, but it's not detrimental to the car. You can also bypass the brake booster, but only do this to see if the noise is there or not. Do not drive without it, the brakes are really assisted by this, it could cause an accident. Mainly because you are used to pressing on it so hard, well how hard you normally press it, the car will not stop. You can still stop the car, but its tough.

So i tested the break and everything seemed fine except for #2 on the air tight check, i had foot on break and turned off the car, i was able to feel slowly the break was rising and becoming firmer...

Anyways... with the clutch booster how can I go about doing this disconnection thing? How can I get to it?

Oddly, with the car on, I kept pumping and pumping the breaks and I could notice the boost gauge slowly going towards the 0 and the car was jumping up and down about 200 rpms and sounded like it wanted to stall, the boost gauge moved about a good 3 psi O.o... this tell you guys anything
