91 Tan Leather Driver's Seat Upgrade

Today a large box from Nissan/Infiniti arrived. Last week I purchased a new tan leather rear seat back on Ebay for 99 cents. It was at $0.99 when the auction closed as I was the only bidder. The leather is a real match for the 91 C interior. I plan to harvest the leather from the new seat back to use in replacing driver seat bottom. The leather from one side of the new seat back will provide enough leather to replace the seat bottom.

wow thats nuts you were able to get an OEM new leather skin, is that from the ebay guy in Ohio?

Here's a link to the dealer in Charlotte NC that was trying to sell it from their web site for $500.00. I guess they gave up and listed it on eBay without a reserve. I'm the only person that bid on it at 99 cents.

Here's the description:

This is the Rear Seat Back for a 1990-1992 model Infiniti Q45. This is the vertical piece that surrounds the arm rest. This has never been used, and has been stored in a climate controled environment in the box for approx. 8 yrs. The seat pad, frame, and LEATHER are in no way damaged. The leather isn't torn in any place. This was purchased from the factroy [sic] in 2001 and was never returned. The color of the leather is Beige/Tan. The factory trim code is (C), Beige.
