hello everyone i am new to this site. ok i'm having problems with the stanza its a 91 xe automatic. i have it for 4 months now. i was taking for a 40 miles a day to work and back no problems in the summer. about 2 months ago the car die just before the expressway on the way home. my wife pick me up and took me home. so the next day i took my other car and went to the stanza and see if i can start it up. it did and i drove it home. now i thought it was a fuel pump so i change the fuel pump and filter and also did a tune up. now the car is doing the same thing. it could do it when its cold or when the cars running for 20 mins. need help. the cars has great heat and air condition. also can i put a sr20t in the 91 stanza thanks.

did you look under the plate below the rotor? thats where the oil effects the crank sensor. If your idle is speratically jumping to 1500 the first place i would look for that is the tps adjustment. if the hard idle contacts are opening that will make it jump up.
