I have a 1991 s13 and the driver side rear caliper leaks but only when I use my ebrake when I park. If I have my ebrake pulled when my car is sitting the driver side rear caliper will leak badly enough to leave a puddle and I replaced the caliper and the pads and after 2 days it started leaking again. when I got the car from the previous owner he had tightened the ebrake so it would be tight as soon as I started pulling it. I loosened the two bolts in the ebrake's boot but it only made it a little less tighter I have felt other s13 240 ebrakes and they feel a lot smoother and easier to pull up so I am wondering if anyone has any idea what my problem could be? thanks.

Yeah, a tight ebrake is fine. If you replaced the calipur and it still leaks, its gotta be the fitting. Replace the soft line that connects the calipur to the hard line.

I have checked the soft line going to the caliper and its not leaking the leak seems to be coming from the boot around the piston in the caliper. I don't know why but that's where my last one was ripped at to. I know I installed everything correctly as well that is why I'm wondering what could be causing it to leak.

He already replaced the calipers.

What did you replace them with? New ones? Referbed? Used?

I replaced them with used ones that were rebuilt all of the boots and rubber rings on the one I put on were good so thats why im not sure what is happening and I thought it might have been the line its self to but its not leaking from the line at all and its not leaking where the line connects to the caliper either.
