Found a mint 91 Q with 50k on it. I absolutely believe the milage. There isn't hardly wrinkles in the leather. It has all its original books and paperwork. Do you all think it would be a reliable turnkey car for my wife? It's so cool looking inside of it and remembering the tech and style of the early 90's and it still looking new.. I am/was shocked to find it. $5900 feasible?

It's listed at www.autolist.com it's black/gray. Not a single hairline scratch on it. Not even the weird looking wheels/rims? ....

With your rant on how bad infiniti is compared toclexus why bother? You seem to have enough issues with an 05 let alone a 91. Even if timing chains are done its a 3k car max. Needs suspension rehab and new tires at very least. Could be 10k by the time its turnkey.

You know what your right. Everyone gets pissed sometimes and if you can't rant on a has been cars blog spot without one douche bag after another giving comment then where can you ? Just put this thread on here because I thought you guys would enjoy it. You and the "other" one single handedly made my decision to sell the Q and get off this site. It's astonishing the direct correlation of the vehicle to owner IQ ratio average with a particular brand/model. What is the purpose in policing my rant and or rants otiose as they may be nonetheless, the aforementioned I owe you a great deal of gratitude! The Q is for sale ASAP.. thanks be to those that were kind - enjoy

You have some underlying mental issue? Can you take any direct or constructive criticism without it being perceived as an insult? If my statement contributed to you selling your "deteriorating unworthy" Q45 then so be it. I did not ridicule you like the "other" but provided a direct statement which included your ever so holy opinion. You seem to infact dislike infiniti so much and many of your posts are misleading no one knows how to respond to your randomness. Considering purchasing a 25 year old car. In which you have no respect, knowledge, or liking to the 11 year old one you currently have speaks ignorance on your behalf. Sell your defunct pos and get outta here

That is a nice looking Q! At first glance I believe the mileage too.

Located in PA, I'd want to spend a lot of time looking for rust - and possibly contact the former owner (if they're still alive) to see what's been done to it, and if it was a "summer only" car. All of the usual stuff applies... needs timing chain guides, suspension soft parts, etc. With parts becoming more difficult to find, it's probably not a daily driver.

The ad says the car has been on the market for 551 days. So nobody seems to be jumping at it, at least not for that asking price. The cosmetics on this car look great. The interior looks new. But like most all old cars, the issue is where the vehicle is at in its maintenance & repair cycle. As BCC said above, the car could end up being an over 10K investment by the time some major repairs are done, particularly the suspension and timing guides.
