Opps I did something not sure what. The low charge light came on and I checked the voltage and sure enough the alternator was not charging.I replaced the alternator with one from scottsdale. Went in real easy. While I was at it I cleaned the passenger side with a pressure washer. Tried to restart and the engine coughs a little but will not start. Cleaned all the connectors on that side in case they got wet but no dice.It smells heavy like gas when you crank it. I pulled the ecu and it shows a code of 55 which my book says is no problem detected.Any ideas?ThanksReid

Water in plug wells?

Floor the accelerator, then turn ignition on, then crank engine for a minute or two [up to 120 seconds] do not uncompress accelerator unless it starts

Success! I guess one of the Connectors to the transitor got water in it. It was missing the rubber ring inside. I had to keep the battery charger on high and spin the heck out of it but she cranked and poured out white smoke for 5 minutes! Must have been full of fuel. Ended up having to replace the battery too. ThanksReid
