That is a good link, unfortunately it's not applicable to my Q45.
I took apart one of the speakers/amps in the hope that there would be some type of labeling somewhere.
It turns out that the amplifier circuit board's only identifying marks are reference codes for electronic components. (transistors,resistors,capacitors,etc.....)
Here are the wires that provide the signal from the headunit to the speakers.
Front right speaker - Black/White & White/ Green
Front left speaker - Black & White
Rear right speaker - Black/Red & White/Red
Rear left speaker - Black/Blue & White/Blue
(Now I just have to figure out which ones are positive & which ones are negative)
I also ran some fresh speaker wires to the rear. (Not that they're hooked up to anything though. )
During the process I found a black box under each side of the backseat.
On the passengerside it appears to be for the CD changer, while the one on the driverside appears to be for the phone.
Also found that the Rear Driverside speaker had a "Remanufactured" sticker on it , while the passengerside speaker looked to be original.
Service records state that both were replaced, but I was getting an oddball crackling/popping out of the Rear Pass. side speaker prior to this little adventure.
(I'm slowly growing more & more tempted to just pull out the factory system and slap in an aftermarket one.)
