So my original Bose Speakes blew and now I have the annoying noise going on when I turn the stereo on.

So does anyone know where I can get the same speakers I like them so thast why I am asking. I know I can get them on Ebay but it would be better to get them from a straight out buy place, I dont like the whole bidding stuff...

Cool, I hope he reads the post and writes something.... I really dont want to go with another brand of speakers but if nobody sells them anymore then I might have to go with Sony or Infinity.

I believe the 1991 were subject to a factory recall. Some members had both front and back replaced. Contatct Bose or Infiniti Customer Service.

I've got 2 good rears from my '92 (these were the replacements under the recall). When the fronts died I just swapped the whole stereo. Also, I'm pretty sure the '91-'93's are the same, but the '90's were different (speakers or head unit, not sure which).

If you do a google search for bose stereo repair you should get a couple of hits of places that specialize in fixing the Bose amps. That's what you need.

The '90 front speaker boxes are the different set. They have a white plug vs. blue plugs on all the others. Different amps I believe. As far as I know all speakers front and rear are interchangeable from 90-96 except for the '90 fronts.

I'm not sure which ones the original poster needs but I have 3 front speakers left, no rears. You can email me if you're interested.

MAXNIX is right, again (what else?)! Do not spend $s until you get with a dealer and/or Bose! My 92s were replaced, at dealer, at about the 10 year time frame. I would agree, though, if you are a serious audiophile (I listen mostly to NPR), replace the entire system and join modernity!

Its not that I dont want to get new speakers, I just want to stick with the same stocked speakers since they are good speakers.... thought someone would have them on stock. But If I dont find the stock speakers I will get a whole new set. I already took out the stock stereo and replaced it with a new Panasonic CD/MP3/ Ipod/ Sat Radio Ready stereo. I took off the CD changer that was in the trunk and threw that away.

I would just like to find the stock speakers. For those that have them please email me the pics and the prices to [email protected]

AhHAH! Now that's a very important bit of info! It might be a little complicated to get the Bose speakers (which have their own individual amps) to work with an aftermarket (read conventional) stereo. And even then, you get 21st century stereo quality sound coming out of 20th century (OK, 17 year old) speakers/speaker technology.

Get yourself, at least, front & rear amps, 6.5" speakers for the front doors (perfect fit with 1/4" MDF adapter panels, but check the depth) & 6"x9" for the rear. When you choose your speakers, match the db levels. My Alpines were 91 & 92, I think. You won't believe how good that'll sound compared to the original.
