91 q45 missfire

ok i couldnt wait so i found a 300zx tt a 92 at that.so i took the injector and got the screws loose on the q but the injector in the engine the plastic is broken.so i looked at the harness connector and thought wait let me get the 300z injector.the harness connector was different! and on top of that the injector in the engine is leaking gas!

but i then get my maxima fuel injector and the harness, the top seal, and the metal thing that covers the injector and holds it in place all fits perfectly.

so i took the injector back and the guy was like show me the oem one.(couldnt cause it was still in the car).but i used the maxima and he said that looks like a 1990 injector.the 89-91 maxima vg30e injector looks like the injectors that are in my q45.

i looked at the picture and compared it with the vg injector...i dunno guys it looks compleatly alike....someone please help me.now i gotta get that injector out now that it's leaking gas

okay replaced the injector. the car runs great.but now #7 has a randon misfire at idle only though.and it looks easy to get to, but looks can be deciving.

these mustve been the original injectors because the plastic is so brittle.

What does #7 OHm at?

#7 is supposedly hard to get to unless you remove or at least partially remove the plenum.

well it's about 65*F out and i just drove her for a good 2 hours.

i think the last time i checked it was when shje was cold and it was cold outside...

Test when cold that way you get a higher (Truer) reading.

it was 17 ohms.but now the random misfire is gone.she runs like a beauty.thanks for all the help.but yea i will tackle that #7 injector but on a sunny day with cool temperatures....
