91 Q45 Engine Knocking very Loud

Just bought a 91 Q45 and the engine is knocking. The vehicle still drives. I just need to know if it needs a new engine or if the engine can be saved. I need to drive the vehicle 50 miles to my house. Is there anything I can do to help the engine to make it back to my house.

Like flatbed it? Why would you purchase a car without knowing its operating condition? Lawn ornament?

You gotta really love a car to buy it knowing you will need to spend $3,000 to $6,000 to replace the engine and restore all the underhood components back to close to new operating status.

I do where can I get a rebuilt engine from or who can do it???

Check Craigslist. There's 3 in the Baltimore area and one for $950 that might be worth looking into. The other 2 have had engines swapped in. You may want to use your Q for parts.
