I need both coil pack harnesses left an right. I also need the wiring harness for the knock sensors as the previous owner gorilla glued the plugs on mine..

I know I can get the knock harness new for like $200+, but I am looking to find usable used parts.

I can't find the coil harness new anywhere.

Thanks in advance..

If the "north" end of your knock sensor harness is ok, and you're handy with a soldering iron and some heat-shrink tubing, it would be tempting to try these. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinf ... 501&jpid=0 at $5 each.

Thank you for the link. I ended up buying pigtail connectors from http://www.performancevh.com. So I am good there.

However the coil harness is appearing to be a lot more difficult to find ... the wires are toast, brittle to the touch from heat soak and all connectors under the coil pack cover are also destroyed.

I am waiting to hear back from "wiring specialties" to see if they can at least sell me the connectors so I can make my own new harness.

If anyone has a good harness laying around please get at me ...

Can some one please confirm that this will work http://www.wiringspecialties.com/connectorq.html

it says it is for a sr20, but the guy at customer service for that website said it would work..he was very short with me though and not as helpful as I expected so I need a 2nd opinion.

My only real concern is that our plugs have a small plug on top with 2 little wires going to them and these do not...

I am going to end up replacing most if not the entire harness, but I just need to find connectors that will for sure work.

This is such a common problem, I am baffled that no one has an answer/solution to the problem.

I have done my research and have posted my findings, hoping some one who has more experience than me would come back with an answer.

Does nobody know if any other vehicles have the same senors that are not subject to the heat soak ours are?

Luckily I sourced a good used set from a facebook group member. Thanks for all the help... :bs:
