hii just got my q45 calipersi'm trying to clean it>rebuild it>and paint it.how do i do?i asked pepboys guys. they're............. not very helpful?Infiniti mechanic guys.............ignoring me?Search button............... shows no result.....help!!

Buy the seal and hardware kits from Joe 1-888-216-5328

You'll want to rip all the old stuff out before doing the work, and then replace it all with new stuff.

nissan service manual book says clean the caliper with brake fluidwhat does that mean?

It means to use brake fluid as a cleaner to wipe down the calipers. If you're doing a total rebuild/repaint this is not good. You'll need to clean/degrease completely, and prime them quickly to prevent rusting. No paint allowed in the piston bores of course. As soon as the paint is dry install seals and pistons, then either install them or coat the inner surfaces with brake fluid to prevent rusting.
