91 power steering problem

so one of my poser steering lines stripped itself out of the unit so i cant get it back in is there anyway i can just remove the power steering or is it a must replace because the car drives now just no power steering

are the threads on the hose fitting stripped or the hole where it goes into??

you can remove the power steering if you want...just make sure you block off the in/outs of the steering rack so all your fluid doesn't leak out of the rack and ends up drying out, making it even harder to steer past the fact that you won't have any power assist.
