91 odometer motor needed
91 odometer motor needed
I'm having problems with my odometer and have narrowed it down to the motor. It works intermittently. Hoping someone has one laying around that I can buy asap. Thanks!

The motor is part of the speedo itself.
It engages what is basically a plastic gearset on the odometer. They sometimes rot out and don't work anymore. Does your speedometer work?

Sometimes it's the gear, and sometimes it's the plastic fingers that reset the tripometer (if the trip gets jammed, it can stop the odometer)

Speedometer works fine. Plastic gears are good. Tested the motor with the cluster dropped while I was driving. The motor turns very slowly and stops very easily with little pressure on the shaft.
