'91 NX 2000 electrical problems

The was car was running fine then a couple of days ago it ran rough with battery light on after a cold start. Now it can take a lot of cranking to start but idles okay when started. I don't dare drive it. The battery and alternator check good at O'Reilly. There's a relay under the dash that buzzes frequently and there's an occasional loud spark I think from the starter area that sound like when you touch a wire to both battery posts. All fuses check good on first pass and I'll do a second pass. Guess du jour is a battery main cable making intermittent contact. I'm checking the cables as best I can. No rust on the car, no corrosion on battery terminals, no electrical modifications besides a dashcam wired to the cigarette lighter circuit. Are there common electrical system failure points in these cars?

I reinserted all the fuses, fusible links and relays, reattached all the battery cables and grounds I could reach. It's working as good as new now.

Eventually the alternator flat out quit and everything's been fine since I installed a Bosch reman.
