Hello and congrats on your new car. Yes whoever told you it was a KA24E told you correctly.

As far as upgrades for the Stanza there is not a whole lot unless you do custom stuff however you can rig up an intake pretty easy, Genie makes a header for the Stanza, and it is easy to have someone mandrel bend you up some piping and then just pick out a universal straight through muffler.

As for swaps, most people with a Stanza want a SR20DET however only one Stanza in the states has one currently (I will have one in mine within a year or so).

Some other people have talked about dropping in a KA24DE but I just see spending the money on one of those motors for the little hp difference.

intakes from the Toyota RAV4 and i believe the Nissan AXXESS fit, suspension stuff from the AXXESS fits, brake stuff from the 240SX fit,

theres some more things people have found, check out theTeamNSE boards and site for tons of info. Search around there and learn.

humm, there's no intake kit from the AXXESS.. just filter kit.. Only thing worth taking from FWD AXXESS is the rear swaybar and rear swaybar bushings.

Front rotors from 89-93 240SX is direct fit AFAIK. Not too certain about the brake pads, lines, etc...

SS brake lines from 89-94 maxima is direct repacement as well.

Altima front struts, complete with spring and top spring seat can be fitted under the stanza as well.

...that the Stanza shares the same U12 chassis as the Bluebird SSS in Japan, right? My family owns a Stanza for the past 10 years and I'm doing research on whether the aftermarket support for the U12 Bluebird can be applied to the Stanza.

Here's the wiki below. As you see, many engines can be placed into it:http://tinyurl.com/ybbh6m9

If anyone can provide more info on the compatiblity of the SSS parts to the North American Stanza, it would be much appreciated. The parts are out there, we just need to know where to get them.

The guys in my signature have some genuine parts for cheap. Take a look to see what they have on hand.
