91 nissan sentra se-r help

alright so i own a 1990 300zx n/a n i wanna sell it and i wanna get a old skool se-r there is one for sale completely stock it has 120k original owner i havent seen the car yet but hes askin for 2 grand. wat should i look for when looking at the car commen things for these cars? heres the link what do u guys think?

The first major flaw is 5th gear pop out. It will happen sooner or later in the se-r. Next would be any major oil leaks, like the front/rear main seal. Minor leaks like the oil pan or valve cover are no big deal. Busted CV boots, any rust, water leakage in the trunk (if the tail lights haven't been sealed the trunk has leaked), leaky sunroof. Major rust areas are around the door hinges. Other places that begin to rust are rear fenders and rocker panels. 2k is a bit high unless the car is in immaculate shape, which most aren't. Being a northern state car, I bet there is some rust, some where.

ok so I talked to the guy imma go see the car later this week imma try 2 talk hime down 2 1500 he said no rust and no 5 gear pop out.. I'm type new to sentra so I was wonder is it better boost the stock sr20 or motor swap?? ect.. any suggestion

I been lookin around just notice pplz talkin bout the gtir swaps if I recall correctly that's already turbo but will it fit right in also I think its top mount inercooler not 100 percent sure still doin research on it.... any sites specifically for buyin b13 mods?? like 300zx has z1...

Be sure to do a compression test first...... The SR responds well to boost and you will realize impressive gains from even a low amount of boost. Run 12lbs and have fun with it till you blow it up, then go buy a bluebird motor from JGY!

If I were going for a swap in the B13 I would go with the BlueBird set up. You will find lots of B13 goodies thru JGY.
