My nissan was running very well and I drove over to my wife's work and shut the car off. When I came back out and started it up the car was missing very bad. I have replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires but it is still missing. It has about 130,00 miles on it and a manual transmission. It has also been very hard to start. Any suggestions on what might be causing it to miss. The car sat in a field for about a year before I got it. It was very hard to start when I first got it and has been ever since. Once I did get it started it ran well up until recently.

Check the fuel filter. It's very often overlooked.

I replaced the fuel filter a few weeks back when I installed the new plugs, rotor and distributor cap. Could it be clogged again?
