'91 Nissan Maxima key fob

Hi guys, Wondering if anyone out there can help me.
Recently I purchased a '91 Nissan Maxima and it came with a 2 button key fob. The larger button activates and deactivates the door locking mechanisms and the engine electronic security system.

What does the other smaller button do. From what I've seen when it is activated it only blinks the parkers a couple of times.
Appreciate any advice as to what that second small button does

Should be for the trunk. I just asked the tech that's here today (Infiniti Dealership) he's worked for Nissan/Infiniti for 25+ years. His first response when I asked him about the remote for the old Maxima: "Yeah those things never work." LOL but anyway he said it should be for the trunk release. You might try asking in the Maxima forum as well, someone else might have one.
