Ok. First off. there will be pics soon i promise.

so i figured that sense i have the engine out i might as well paint it sense it was on the list of things to do. i completely striped out the interior and most of the engine bay. i want to do a 5spd swap to but my local junkyard hasnt had one hardbody or pathy for a year.

i should be able to get my engine block and crank back from the machine shop soon.

i took a better look at my driver side tire with the fender off and i have a camber issue from lowering it. :picard: i lowered it 3in. and at some point i want to go another in or two am going to need to get some sort of camber kit or can this be adjusted?

my turbo kit will be here in acouple days.

I <3 my D21

The simplest way to fix your camber issue is with a set of drop spindles. These replace the current spindle, giving you two inches of drop without changing any suspension geometry. If you want to go lower, you can use these in conjunction with the torsion bar crank and get 4-5 inches of drop, but you may run into clearance issues.

I have these, plus about 1 inches of torsion drop with no clearance issues and very minimal camber.

What are you doing to the interior?

I would try another junkyard, or even craigslist. My local craigslist has two complete '87's right now, one for $350, the other is wrecked in front and no price. Last time I called a junkyard I needed a window. They had gotten a truck that day. My local "you-pull" junk yard has a small field of D21's. This was an extremely popular truck that was made for a very long time. Also, the manual trans is a generally an easy rebuild.

Just remember the pathfinder hard body interior is a good swap also. I have 2 grey leather seats from my local pull a part that bolted in and 25 bucks a seat and are in great shape. Most panels and dash parts from 87-97 or so are perfect bolt ins.

Yeah we used to have a bounch of pathys and d21 then they crushed them all and never got any more.

I got my turbokit mounted on my engine right now. im waiting for the pistons to come it so i can get the block bored. bearings, gasket set, and BOV come in soon too.

I have to get a card reader so i can upload new photos. the card reader built into my computer fried. :frown:

Its all coming along good right now. the long part will be all the body work.

looks good brings back memories lol
i suggest you find so good thick heavy duty spark plug wire sleeves or else you wont have wires and make sure you tune with something good or else everything will go to a waste
