My car will start to overheat when im driving it, it wont overheat at idle though. The top hose is hot and lower hose is cold, leading me to believe the tstat is not opening.

-I replaced the tstat it still was overheating.-I just replaced the water pump and it is still overheating.

anyone got any ideas?

Your radiator could be about half stopped up.Does the air feel warm coming from the radiator?
