if i hit the gas up to 50% it runs fine and shifts hard, but anthing above that it feels like the car just revs to where it would at full throttle but it doesnt have the same power only to 4 grand on the tach then the power drops off and starts cutting out a little wtf? i guess i should post this but i dont know how newbie to this not a newbie to driving lol this is my second motor so i swapped all the sensors from my old engine and its still doing it......it feels like something is holding it back like the timing is retard,.... type of feeling but ive pulled the distributer out a bunch and set the timing from start to finish could this be my problem or wtf is it?

maybe you aren't getting enough fuel? check your fuel pump? is it only at wide open throttle, or just more than half-throttle?

yes def. check the fuel pressure as well as your Air Fuel Ratios . If it goes lean and you boosting Alot say bye bye to your motor.

his thing says KA24de, so no turbo, right? either way, maybe you have a dirty fuel filter, a clogged-up fuel line, not enough voltage to the fuel pump, or there's crap inside of your fuel pump. i don't think it's the last one though.

see if you can borrow somebody's fuel pressure gauge, i think it goes inline on the return fuel line. i think i've heard some places actually lend or rent them out. hook it up, start the car, and see where the pressure sits. rev the motor and see what the gauge reads; the fuel pressure should go up with rpms, yes?

thanks for all the info i'll try them all tomorrow and see. its not boosted either, but sometimes it acts like its breaking up if i push the gas to hard so i think you guys are right i'll just buy all new lines and a pump and a filter and see if it all works. i just want to get the car running good so i can do some auto crossing and some side road drifting

thanks
