91 KA S13, distributor problem

my car just stopped starting last night, it would crank, but not startsome people is telling me that its my distributor, so i changed it out this morning, and now car would still only crank, but not start, i duno if i put the distributor in correctly, timing done right, so onwhen i crank i get black smoke coming out of hte exhaust

my fuel pump is working, cuz i hear the buzzing soundi read the technical article here already, only helped me a littleany ideas?

When this happened to me it turned out to be a bad coolant temp sensor. Have you flashed your ECU?

flashing as in resetting it?turning that knob on the ecu n stuff
