I've got a POC at JWT, Ben Pila. #619-442-0680 or http://www.jimwolftechnology.com I'll bet he could give you a definitive answer Fred. You got your TCU too, didn't you?

The differences in year of ecu [90-93] were fine tweeks in the idle, emissions, cruise, TC lock up as they tried to fix little annoyances.Obviously Hicas, TCS, and Active required their own ecu as sensors outputs were different as did California emissions.

JWT does nothing to non WOT parameters except recurve the ignition advance/retard when you suddenly open the throttle from a cruise [in the period just prior to downshift] to suppress knock because the timing recovery from a knock wastes time in acceleration.
