91 infinit q45 no spark!!!! It's alive agian!!! But has an issue!!

my q45 is alive again after buying everything you can imagine for it, lets see I have bought injectors, crank angle sensors the whole computer wiring harness igniter packs, fuel pump and control module and 3 computers and I only installed a few of them. but come to fine out I just bought a computer from this guy on the infiniti forum and guess what I installed it and sure enough it started right up. what are the chances of people selling someone 2 bad ecu's this guy that sold it to me on here is a life saver.

Now the only problem I am having is it is running so rich is is pouring gas smelling smoke right out of the exhuast pipe and it will run if I keep my foot on the gas pedal and then once I take it off it chugs a little bit then dies. what would cause that. the ecu is giving me the fault code for the maf sensor. would that cause this.Thanks Mike

Wiggle the MAF connector, connectors go bad often. Or MAF may be bad, the connector is more likely. Do a search on Maf connector, you'll find lots of results. Glad it runs... now the fun starts

I am positive the maf is bad, I tested to my manual and it shows bad.Thanks Mike
