As stated, car won't start at all. I turn the key, nothing happens. No clicking at the starter, nothing. All the accessories come on, lights, radio, windows work, etc, gauges all light up.

I've tried jumpstarting it twice now, to no avail as well.

Also, as mentioned in the title, it's a 1991 hatch, with a blacktop conversion. Swap was done prior to my getting the car.

Previous owner said all I should have had to do was bleed the clutch and it should have fired. Didn't happen that way. Any suggestions would be lovely.

There are some loose wires in the area of the starter, but the starter appears to be wired, I haven't been able to get the car up high enough to get under and check for sure though. If it's that, then problem solved, however, I would think jumpstarting it should have worked. I've never tried jumpstarting a turbo'd car though.

It's a standard, and running 10lbs boost.

Another thing, the tach occasionally bounces around, it's doing it with less frequency now than it was when I first started working on it (dunno if that's good or bad :P) but at first there was a ticking/buzzing from the back (I assume fuel pump) and from the front, in the fuse box on the battery side.

Well, if you haven't figured this out yet I'll try and help ya out. The clicking you're hearing is probably the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump working. This means that your ignition switch is ok. Next, I would try and hook a test light up to the starter to see if you're getting fire there. If so then you have a bad starter. If it doesn't light then it's something else. Just follow the starter wire back and start checking various points along that path until you get fire. Hope this helps.

Actually I have it turning over and the only thing left to fix is the fuel pump issue. I think the relay died, new one is on order from the dealer and should be here Wednesday. I'll know if that's everything then. It was a whole bunch of small problems that got my car to where it was, they're all dealt with now, and if the fuel pump works on Wednesday, I'll be havin' my first ride in the new car Wednesday evening.
