91 ecu missing green led?

I just bought a 91 engine and the ecu that came with it doesnt have a green led is this normal for this year? I opened the ecu to see If it had broken off but it looked like it was either removed by some one who could solder very well or it just wasnt there in the fist place. If this is not normal will some one let me know. if it is normal will someone let meknow how to read the code without the green led. Also could I just solder in the led from my 89 ecu if there should be one in there.

as far as i know, all 240 ecus should have a green led.

Ok so I tried doing the regular self diagnostic with my retarded one led ecu and when I did the computer gave me codes by flasing the tens slow and the ones fast then it would stopIt gave me 14 32 33 45. So... I could be wrong but maybe they made a few ecu's with only one led, like the 91's maybe? Can any one help me out Idont know where my speed sensor is and if Im not mistaken 14 means a malfuction w/the speed sensor. right?. Also I am a stupid **** so if someone could let me know if I am supposed to replace my whole egr thing(<--technical term)or just clean it that would be cool. And I messed with the screw on the side of the manifold below the egr someone told me it was a sort of a/f mixtrure scew. What is that and how do you get it adjusted correctly?
