91 digital gauge cluster not working

hey i just finished my sr swap into a 91 coupe and my gauges and my hud dont work. i have all the small little lights (seatbelt, door, oil, etc) but i dun have the digital. i heard there is a reason why because it is a 91 but not sure of the reason or if there is any solution to make it work. if not i am willing to buy a new cluster with hud so anyone have one that would be great but i would want to try to make sure i cant do anything with this one that i have already thnx in advance
