That's a bit much, I got my 92 coupe for 2k which I thought was still a little high. Bug him for a lower price.

i understand that 240sx are getting popular and prices are going up for these things but 3500 is way to much. should be under 2500 for 91

Guess I got ripped on my 89 last year. I paid $3500 from the dealer.

And repair costs since then have almost gotten to the $1k mark.... ugh.

yeah that's too much imo. but then again...i'm cheap. try to look for things wrong with the car and lower the price. that's how i did it. be firm and show him like 2000 in cash and he'll take it...hopefully.

Yeah 3500 is way too much I agree with everybody I paid 2200 for my 1990 fastback and everything way in great shape. I have seen 240s for sale from1500-3500 I say 3500 is the most one could pay. (Assuming it is still stock and running condition)

I paid 1600 for my 89 and repair costs are over 4,000. I have about 5200 invested in the car with the price included and have no aftermarket mods besides one 10" sub, a HU, JL 4 by 6's all aruond and a cone filter. I got ripped off.

yes you definatley did get ripped off. I bought mine for 300 it wasnt running, and I put a good 500 into it and it ran for a good 4 months. Then the engine blew, and now I have a civic :\ , but I have my reasons, first off the civic is from my brothers friend who is a mechanic(reason this is abonus is becasue I can do payments (Idont have enough money for a reliable car so payments are good) and if stuff goes wrong with the car it will be free or cheap to repair (first day alternator broke, second day I had a new on bought and installed free of charge.)

Im looking to buy another 240 around this time next year so I can get it ready for taht following summer, but as of now I have an extremely clean civic ex coupe with all power and sun/moonroof, so that will do for this summer (only performance upgrades for this baby, no gay wings, or side skirts, not even rims. this ones gonna be my sleeper beast :D )

Depends on the car...If it's super clean and runs great, I'd be happy to pay $3,500...You have to consider all this, especially with older cars...thats why the prices can vary so much...
