ok this car has been my daily driver up to now. I noticed vacuum lines starting to crack and some fall off completely so i changed all the vacuum lines today along with a brand new battery and now it refuses to start up.I replaced all the vacuum lines one by one so theres no chance I put any on wrong. also while looking under the car for a dropped tool i found a part that im assuming cam off the car but i have no idea from where. ill include a pic of the mystery part. any help with this would be much appriciated.Image

That looks like a Nismo pilot needle bearing for the transmission input shaft, they don't just fall out of place.

No idea what the is, it almost looks like a pilot bushing but not with those rollers inside and not closed on one end. Did you see where it fell out of? It could just be something someone dropped long ago..

Anyway, when you were replacing vacuum lines, are you sure you didn't unplug and eletrical connectors or bump/disturb them such as the CAS or PTU?

the CAS was unplugged but I found no other unplugged connectors and it still doesn't start. also I pulled one of the plugs to see if it was getting spark. there was no spark and the plug was covered in gasoline.

it seems the CAS was the issue the connector is so beat up that every time the engine moves in the least it falls off. alot of my connectors are similar so i think its time for a new wiring harness. on the plus side i got the car running and i found where the mystery part belongs. its a cap bearing for the starter. if you look on the gear side of the starter it goes in the tip, not an easy find lol.
