please help I want the car but am not sure about these things wrong with it. Any help would be great. Here is what's wrong with it and does the hicus thing sound right?

The car has some dings in the body and the clearcoat is pealing on the wing overall the body is straight and the paint is goodThe interior is in excellent condition except for a small tear in the drivers lumbar supportThe parking break light sensor needs to be replaced - this doesn't effect the parking break in any way but it causes the warning light on the dash to come onThe car needs an alignmentThe previous owner put a taller tire on the right rear wheel causing the hicus light to come on - replacing with the correct size tire should fix this. For some reason the headlight out warning light is on even though all the bulbs are goodIt doesn't have a head unit the bose speakers are still there but the person I got the care from kept the cd player. The factory boost gauge doesn't work however I am including a new autometer boost gauge with the carThe care is idling a little rough like it has bad gas or needs a tune-up

Sounds like a project car. And on the Z32, even a well-running car car quickly become a headache, making a project car a constant migraine. Unless you are very mechanically inclined (thereby willing to perform all labor yourself) and have the patience and a daily driver to endure multiple occurrences of not being able to drive the car for extended periods of time, I'd recommend that you pass on this particular car and find one in better shape.

Car: should be obvious enough

above advice is good, a poorly maintained Z can become a nightmare for the next owner, unless you happen to be very mechanically inclined.

the simple fact that different tires were put on the rear wheels shows that the owner didnt give a crap for the car...pretty sad state that Z is in.

Thanks for your help guys. I won't buy it now. I just thought it would be a good deal for $4500, but it is an automatic so I'm not heart broken over it. I guess I will spend that money on my 95 240SX. Again thanks for all your help.

The Z32's chassis is a boat compared to the S14's. Smart choice in passing it up.

Too many electrical problems in my opinion. Like others have said.. sounds like it wasn't taken care of. Also how many miles are on the car? As for the dummy lights, on my 240sx the parking brake light came on because i was VERY low on brake fluid.. not sure if that would cause the same thing on the 300zx... and I don't know about that hicAs bull**** because the tire is too tall? First off what kind of goon would buy the wrong size tire? Either way, I would run a car fax on this and if you are still serious about getting it have it checked out by a COUPLE mechanics and have them check the electrical system in particular. Maybe run an ECU Diagnostic on it.. very simple.. you can see how to on http://www.twinturbo.net in the TECH section. See what comes up. And.. that's all. El Fin.
