please help me.i have a 91 300zx fully built motor forged rods,pistons,machined cranck etc.i had a super t 70 turbo installed on it,intercooler,fuel regulator,720 nismo injcors,255 pds fuel pump,apex ,greddy profecb 2 bost controller.i need to mess with the fuel regulator how should i adjust it?what pds around 35?the car is not boosting at all and the engine it wont rev higgher then 5k rpm.main concern is my boost controller....i dont know how i should adjust it like START BOOST,GAIN,SET,LIMITER,AND WARNING.PLEASE HELP.the car should put like 500-550 to the wheels and its running like a nonturbo.i believe right now it set at 5%gain,start boost at 26%,set at 30%,limiter at 26%.any clues???tkx also i have 2 hks bov is that weird for a single turbo?btw i just had my timing belt chancghed from reading forums im gonna check my timing maybe its off.and also im getting some oil sprayied through my bov when i really punch it is that normal..pleaseeeeeeeeeee help

I replaind to another of your posts, oil out the bov might be the oil seal on the compressor side of the turbo!have you checked the inside of the piping on each side of the turbo both in and out? if you have no oi in the inlet sde fo the compressor but oil in the outlet side you have a blown oil seal on the compressor side, and same holds true for the exhaust, if there is no oil in the intake of the turbine but oil in the turbine outlet you have a blown oil seal in the turbine side,a nd not boosting woud eb a symptom of timing being off but it it runs an idles fine just not boosting, I'd suspect the turbo! is it new? rebuilt? no-name ebay special?

hi there.well im new at this club but i believe this is the only forum i wrote.thanks for the help and ill have a mechanic check out the things u mentioned.the turbo is a super T70 and has 2-300 miles on it .ill check the timing 2 but the car idles fine .could it be from the boost controller not being programmed right?or the Super apex?tkx again

eve si the boost controller is stuck wide open the wastegate actuator won't open the gate till it's predesigned value is achieved, stock is like 10 psi? so you'd still boost, you didn't realy answer tyhe question about the turbo, you only gave milage, what brand? where did you get it? I strongly suspect it has a blown seal, a lot of the cheapo ebay no name turbo's will work fine for a short time then become worthless paper weights

did you modify the ecu in any manor if that'st eh case it could explain why your not revving over 5k, make sure your maF is good too, lots of cars dont seem to work well anymore with the factory MAFs.

The ECU is a jim wolf and th car ran great but wasnt boosting much when I got it. After I got it and installed an oil catch can, fuel reg., replaced timing belt , put in a dump tube to the waste gate and connected the boost controller I started having all of the mentioned above problems. i looked at the turbo i cant find a brand on it the only tag on it says turbocharger T3 super t 70 and a serial nr i cant read

i got the car like that so i dont know where the turbo came from.also i did some messing around with the boost controller and the car runs stronger now but still cuts off at 5k RPM. th SAFC was wired wrong the AFL wires werent conected so i fixed that .now when i step on it the AFL gauge goes up to 90-99 and flashes is that bad?i'd really like 2 talk to some of u over the phone so i can better explain the issues .(954)707-8163 tkx alot Lawrence
