91 300zx bad alternator battery went low, and now runs bad HELP!

I have a 91 300ZX non turbo. I was driving the other day, and the alternator went out. I decided to drive it home, by the time I got there the battery was extreemly low, and the car was barely running. Low voltage to all of the electronic stuff I think. I replaced the alternator, and battery. the car starts fine, but still runs poor. I spoke with the dealer and they said that they would have to start trouble shooting by replacing all of the injectors, and then go from there. Sounds like alot of $ on a mabey? Anybody have any experiance, or ideas on this?

nissan's scan program for the Z32 is called the Conzult and running that through the data port should provide you with some answers. Just replacing stuff because it could be that is silly.

yes, make sure they test anything before they replace it. if they say they can't test injectors, hook an ohm meter up to one and if it produces i think 10-14 ohms, it is a good injector. dont let them just start replacing stuff without testing it.

Pull the codes from your ECU and see if you are getting any. Then reset the ECU and see if it runs any better.

might sound stupid but have you checked your ground wires? you might have knocked one loose while replacing the alternator. and if one of your fuel injectors turns out to be bad replace all 6. if you dont when another one goes out in a month youll be kicking yourself in the ***.
