What can cause a compressor to put out 35 amps...The circuit is designed for 10 amps.

I live in Texas, it's hot as heck and I can't find an A/C man who can fix my 91 300z.

Will a new compressor fix the issue? I've spent 500 on trouble shooting...I feel like the last mechanic got me...

Can anyone help???

I have the same problem. Are you guys sure its just the compress clutch?

Also, is there a DIY guide for this?

Thanks

Once the system cycles the fuse is blown.

How can I be sure it's only the clutch..If I replace only the clutchwill the compressor go out soon after.

Is it best to replace the compressor if I can, with the hope of being done.Best price so far $613 installed..

Found a compressor/clutch on the Web for $230
