you should get a service manual, it explains how to ohm out a your ignition coil to rule out certain problems. A decent multimeter is good to have as well, Ive got a badass fluke meter that can pretyy much do everytying(including temp..) but like Kuillin said, it could be alot of things. that book(chiltons.) also has a trouble shooting guid to help guide you to test certain parts before having to spend lots o dough on exspensive import parts. More info is a help as well(i.e does it turn over? what have yu done to it? pulled codes off the ecu?..also in service manual, how do you know its getting spark, what your fuel pressure at? timing could be an issue...charging system could be screwed...) Im new to this forum but am an expierianced mechanic....and from what ive seen in recent posts...these folks get agitated when people post questions with no real info to go on..espically engine type...im not so much of the research type....(im lazy too) so i cant fault you there hope this helps! and give us more Info!!!
