you could get all the late model 180sx body stuff I suppose... the kouki aero bumper and side skirts, and the 180sx wheels as well.

the actual factory aero parts are really hard to find, but there are afew companies that make knock off's of them... the wheels are standard on the base 4 lug s14's (same as 180sx wheels):)

there's one that will be available state side here soon, and it looks to be relatively well priced. not sure of the quailty though.

read all about it here: http://jspec.com/18koukcon.html

What's the REAL difference here? Where the driver sits.

180 or 240?

P.S. thanks for the pics, Mike

if you have a razorknife your all set, just a thin layer of window adhesive on there...plus a 1 bolt at the base of the window. Broke one of mine in a fuel-pump-install-rage...

Center garnish and windows are the obvious ones. The not so obvious differences are the front signal lights and side markers. The front signal lights are two tone amber and clear, while the side markers have a bulge on them instead of being flat. The later kouki models had a body kit (front bumper, spoiler, skirts) in addition to losing the two tone and getting smaller seperate turn signal lights and daytime running lights.

As for the window, when you take them out, you'll need a window sealant cutter. It looks like a reciprocating saw or you'll need a wire saw. Be careful with the weather stripping around the window though as most of the JDM ones are thrashed when shipped here. You'll also need 3 of those little plastic bolt like things which are used for lining up the window properly and the long flat rectangular section which presses up on the body.

You mentioned the side markers. I think most JDM sidemarkers, in any car, have that "bulge" on them. I have some JDM sidemarkers on my celica, its has that "bulge".

As for the window, so it needs some cutting? And can we just get some weather strip from the dealership, or it has to be from japan?

or a razor knife like I said...and you don't need those plastic things, I took mine off when the window broke and the window fits perfect

Yeah I suppose the razor will work too. Just it'd take too long, but then again it'd probably save the weather stripping if you're careful. The weather stripping that goes around the window is NOT available through the dealership. You must buy the stock 240sx windows to get the weatherstripping and even then they're bonded to the glass so you'd have to peel it off very carefully not to stretch the stripping. Reason I know is because I've got the windows in my garage waiting to be installed but I just don't have the time or money to invest into a project like the 180sx window install now, the SR buildup and replacing of my stolen muffler comes first.

My stripping on my stock windows are so tore up. meaning ALOT of scratches, so is there any other way to "restore" it or just get new windows with better stripping/molding/or whateve you call it.

BomexS13, you can find those corner lights from ebay for about 65 + s&h. Pretty steep if you ask me. As for the weather stripping that goes around the edge of the windows, no there's nothing that can be done unless you purchase new windows which are expensive.

THat sux that i have to get new windows to have new strips. Might as well order a brand new 180sx window. As for the the jdm markers, price isn't that bad.

What you can try to do is go to the junkyard. If they're in decent shape, tug at the little corner section, there should be a tab. But peel upwards very carefully and remove the section where the rear and passenger/driver windows meet and continue to peel from there. Take a razor blade and cut along the bottom between the quarter panel and the glass to get the bottom section removed. Give that a shot.
