'91 240sx speedometer trouble

Hi, I am not too knowledgeable about cars, so only pertinent info i have on my car is that it has no modifications done to it. It is a '91 240 sx with stock parts. I had trouble with my speedometer cutting out in cold weather which one of the other users posted a fix to. After trying that solution I replaced the speedometer assembly and it works great now. everything lights up as it should. Only problem is it is only showing 0 speed. it isn't registering my actual speed. Anyone have any thought as to what the issue could be, it did not have this problem before. Thanks

I'm having a similar problem I have a coupe idk what year the guy said it's an 89 but Idk if they made coupes that yearMy speedo turns on and off randomly I think it reads the accurate speed idk since I've only seen it on once when she was in the driveway :/

If you don't mind, could you provide/link to that information? I am having that exact problem and could not find the fix that you refer to (probably mismatched search terms).
