I was out Playing with a neon (just for kicks) and my car shut down because of the speed regulator. Well it came back on for about 10 seconds then shut off again (at about 90), for good this time. I have a vacuum leak, but the car ran before this happen. Is there some sort of reset switch, or some other idiot switch that i dont know about? Any help is appreciated thanx

disconnect the battery for 30 mins and then try again. fi this doesnt work run an ecu diagnostic, if youre not sure on how to do this, go to http://www.240sx.org and under 140 faq its there.

To throw more fuel on the fire I checked the ECU last night and It kept giving me a code 55 over and over. Does anyone have a Picture of how to set the cams? I set them with a Altima book, which I thought were the same motors. It attempts to start (back fires) at initial cranking then nothing.

The reason I had to reset cams was because I just replaced the crank from a earlier problem with flywheel not bolting properly. Before It died on me I idled really poorly, I figured it was because of vacuum leaks when I replaced the motor
