91 240sx SE with abs does it have VLSD?

Does a 91 RPS13 SE with ABS have VLSD? I held the input and turned the wheel and the other wheel turn in the opposite direction but that's expected with a VLSD because the fluid has to heat up before it starts working.

My friend said there should be some kind of sticker indicating whether it is LSD or open dif.

The motor is not in the car so I can't try the clutch drop method.

Any one knows how else I can figure out if this is LSD or not?

the output shafts should spin the same direction when NOT holding onto the input shaft.

also what effects will replacing the abs sensor dif with a dif without the abs senors? WIll the abs have issues?

the abs needs that sensor to operate the rear abs properly. also the diff snout is a different length. non-abs diff housings are shorter than the abs diff to accomodate that sensor. which is the reason the propeller shafts are different lengths between abs and non-abs.

I so basicly if me and my girl swap dif's then she still has abs and there won't be a anoying abs light on and there won't be any thing to worry about.

it probably isn't. '91 and '93 abs was an option w/o having to get the handling package. '92 was the only year when abs had to go hand in hand w/the hicas option.

I guess i'll do the dif swap after i drop the engine back in and see for my self if both wheels spin. I just wish I could find out now if it was a VLSD so I could use this dif for the lucky slides drift event in Atlanta on the 20th.

well then just look for the peg leg drifter if your there it will be me. with arggg aross the side of my car.

and the anwser is NO IT DOES NOT HAVE ABS.
