so my 91 hatch busted a heater core hose , so I replaced all the hoses cleaned out my intake manifold replaced all gaskets and blocked off my egr and took off the rest of the lines on the back of the motor I ran my fpr line from behind the air brake hose on the manifold and ran my intake runner from the front of the motor and I cleaned it with carb/throttle body cleaner. the problem I'm having now is it starts up takinG a little longer than normal and then goes up the 2 and half rpms then goes up to three slowly then sputters and dies and it was blowing a ridiculous amount of solid white smoke which I think is condensation since I haven't started it in over a week since I pulled the manifold off. I can't get it to stay running for any amount of time it stay on for about 10-15 seconds then sputters and dies

it may be possible that the intake gasket wat put on incorrectly and have the water jacket leaking in your intake.

yeh I'm pretty sure thats it I've got what looks like milk coming out of my exhaust and my radIator is covered in it too how could i have put it on wrong I put it in the right way and took my time with this to make sure it was all right so I wouldn't have this problem and all bolts are tight any ideas on how I might be able to find where its coming in from? Iused a brand new intaKE gasket

its all fuel its coming out of my exhuast and my oil smells of fuel and my injectors wont sit flush with the intake mani. I have all new o rings and lubed them all too and the four black caps that go in between the injector and manifold will never seat I can hear air from them from inside the car and it smells ridiculous with alot of backfiring and the car wont stay running with out gas. my gas meter dropped a quarter of of an inch within 5 minutes of running.

it stopped coming out of my exhaust after I put the injectors in one by one after I put the rail on but I've got a huge vaccumn leak coming from them somehow no matter how many times I put them on the car wont stay running unless I give it throttle it revs on its on to 2-3 three grand on start up then dies

Sounds like you still have a large intake leak. Double check all your hoses and their routing. If you can get someone to keep the car running while you spray carb cleaner around, you should be able to pinpoint the leak.

The best way to find an intake leak is a smoke machine, but most people don't have access to one.

when you blocked off the egr did you do anything with the vacuum lines? How did you block off your egr?

Also,on the back of the plenum is the iacv. check your connections and the position of the adjustment screw (philips head aimed towards the right shock tower)

I have one running from the front of my running back to my intake runners and another from the back of the manifold beside the air brake line on the small hose connector running to my FPR my friend has the same setup and is just fine I hear a massive air leak though and I'm having a lot of trouble finding it. the egr is blocked off with a metal plate I made.

the metal plate you made... I'm assuming you used a gasket maker to seal it correct.

Your best bet at this point is to retrace your steps. Pull the manifold back off and go over all of your connections with a fine tooth comb.

You will need a new manifold gasket. I also recomend a plenum gasket as well. Fel-pro makes a set with both gaskets.

yeh I resealed everything with hi temp silicone and used a brand new felpro gasket and all new hoses I looked around the entire manifold and its completley sealed around as far as i can tell I still haven't had a person to keep it running.

so i pulled off the intake again and there are no broken hoses no dry rotting, the intake gasket doesn't show any grooves or anything that would cause a leak gonna order another gasket tomorrow and try again haha after I reseal my egr and electrical stuff again

There are a lot of vacuum lines to mis-route. Maybe you need to double check all your emisions equipment hose routing.

yeah I deleted all emissions ran my fuel pressure regulator from behind the air brake line which is where I read its supposed to come from anyways and I ran my intake runners from the front of the motor off of the line that comes out of the manifold and curves and goes into those 5 pipes I routed it from that one.
