91 240sx rear defogger question

The only reason I ask is because most of my driving is done in the morning and my rear window usually fogs up when I need to get on the highway. Now the question is how do I get the rear window defogger to work after a swap. Most of the time people forget about it after the swap or people just can't wire it up. The rear defroster on a 91 240sx goes through the brown plug and for some reason to the ecu. I looked at a diagram and I can't figure out if the ecu is giving it power or ground. Can anyone help me?
