You'll NEED to tune when you put a bigger Turbo or bigger injectors on there.

You CAN tune when you do your mods, but it'd be a waste of time and money.

Lemme know when you want to go standalone with PnP harness and base maps. I got something for you that's loaded with features and even has adaptive learning mode like a lot of OEM ecu's.

BTW...It's not Tec3

Not every motor is the same, each motor and tune are different. My buddy is running a complete stock long block except turbo, fuel cam's and springs basic stuff with a nice ems and has been over 500whp for a few years without any issues. It all comes down to how the car is set up and tuned, some people get lucky with their motors, others dont.

turbo, injectors, maf, ecu n 255 are what you need to make serious hp, a i/m and other things are not needed.

if you tune it correctly youll have your 500 mark in no time, just be sure youve got a healthy motor homie

Leakdown and compression check... figure out your starting point... tune will be key for reliability and at those levels it's more common to see a stock motor blow up than last

Don't forget... said it before... these are used motors and there's no getting around that fact. Understand your motor's current cond and procede from there... good luck and welcome to the world of RB's!

550 is where i am going to take break, Then i am doing s13.5 conversion and making sure everything on the outside is to the best i can make it, then the inside, and back to the motor and see how much money and how much of my life i can dump into it, 3 years is my time range for now
