never heard of it... but you are probably going to want to just take care of that head gasket and get the head resurfaced while you are at it.

not unless there is some serious damage to the old head. You might want to get your valve seals and guides replaced while you have the head off though. Also might want to do timing chain.

Not true. Fluid expands when it gets hot, just like gas does (although it doesn't expand as much). All cars fill the reservoir a little when they get hot.

okay.. should i replace the head and put in a new head gasket or just get a new engine? i can get the head from my nephew but he suggested that if im pulling the engine out of the chassis to change the head then i might as well drop in a 95 engine and swap in my 91 cams. i either tear the engine apart or spend a couple of hundreds to get a new one and do the swap. btw, will the 95 ka with 91 cams be stronger than the 91 ka with stock cams?

-thank you

i would confirm myself by flushing the system, filling it back up making sure to open the block bleed plug and make absolutely sure that it is full, then see if its still loosing coolant. if it is, then you can start trying to confirm that it is an internal leak.

Go ahead and check your oil too, make sure you dont have water mixing with it. just pull out the dipstick, if there is water in it the oil will be a milky tan color.

im sure its internal. from the leak down test, the mechanic heard hissy sound from the front of the head. its not the radiator, pipes or all that other easy stuff. im just gonna get the head from my nephew and take it to my brother in law's shop.
